Fire Alarm Systems for your home

Fire Alarm Systems in Bakersfield, CA and Kern County

What is the status of your fire alarm system? You work hard to protect your family any way you can – and smoke detectors are a big part of that. Smoke detectors can alert you and your family when you are home about a fire and give you time to leave the house. What happens when you are gone? Statistics show that a monitored fire alarm increases the odds of saving lives – and property. We take fire alarm systems seriously because we are helping to protect your family members and your home. Our systems are designed to meet the latest code requirements to ensure that if a fire happens the detectors will sound an alarm, and notify our central station. Your safety and peace of mind are our top priority.

Will my smoke detectors hook up to the alarm system?

Standard residential smoke detectors will not hook into your burglar alarm systems.  We can replace your existing smoke detectors, and add combination carbon monoxide/smoke detectors where these are required.  Many insurance companies require monitored fire alarm systems.  An evaluation of your home is recommended to determine what devices are needed.

Old or faulty smoke detectors?

Everyone has been guilty of disconnecting a smoke detector – and never getting around to hooking it back up.  Keep in mind that the lifetime of a smoke detector is 10 years!  After that you may have issues with false alarms – or worse yet, it will not work in the event of a fire.  Have you remodeled or painted?  Both dust and paint fumes and destroy your smoke detectors.   We can evaluate your current system and give you pricing to update your detectors.
